ABOUT US
M3 was started in 2008 to fill a void in the multi-act live-to-air music broadcast industry. The concept was, and remains, to provide our clients with the highest quality equipment and the most experienced personnel. The company launched with one truck, Eclipse, and one portable system. In 2010 M3 brought online a second truck, Voyager, with the same capabilities as Eclipse but a smaller footprint. In 2011 along with the acquisition of PEG Audio, M3 acquired OBU, a small utility truck that can be equipped with whatever is necessary for a specific project. M3’s last truck came in 2015 with the addition of Phoenix. Phoenix was resurrected with new equipment and a new chassis from Joel Singer’s OSR truck that he built in 2004. Throughout its 15-year history, M3 has updated its portable and truck systems multiple times and can now provide whatever is necessary to ensure a successful project. From the largest multi-act shows to the most intimate audio recordings, M3 has the systems to provide exactly what our clients need.

Mitch Maketansky co-founded Music Mix Mobile and as co-CEO is responsible for day-to-day operations.
